Alchemy is the seemingly magical process of transformation, creation, or combination. As we transition from an era of overabundance into one of resource scarcity, the unique treasures inside the Alchemista's Box revel in the possibilities of circularity. 

Sadly, decades of surplus wealth and overconsumption have generated a culture of wastefulness. Everywhere we look, perfectly beautiful jewels are discarded for a lack of love or vision. Jewellery deals in some of the strongest materials known to man, and we’re here to reclaim those relics in unexpected new combinations that reconnect us with the past and redefine the notion of ‘misfits’. In bringing together the old and the new - the discarded and the cherished - this one-off necklace is alchemy realised. In an homage to one of the many alchemistas who paved the way before us, we've named it Florence.

Florence Farr (1860 – 1917) was an actress and member of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, a secret society devoted to the study and practice of occult Hermeticism and metaphysics.  Deeply interested in mysticism and magic, she practiced rituals based on Egyptian and Hermetic traditions, and worked with some of the most famous occultists of her time.
